Deepstambh Manobal works with persons with disabilities across 12 disability categories, creating a truly inclusive education model. Our approach goes beyond access. We ensure that every student receives the tools, training, and environment required to participate equally in education and employment.
The Challenge
- India has over 2.68 crore persons with disabilities.
- Less than 1% reach higher education.
- Access to inclusive education, assistive technology, and career pathways remains limited.
- Support systems decline sharply after the age of 18.
How We Respond

Inclusive & Accessible Education
- State of the art accessible and inclusive residential campus
- Inclusive and accessible hostel and mess facility
- All courses and training are made accessible for residential and online students
- Study material, teaching methods, and assessments are adapted to individual needs.
- Students are prepared for higher education, mainstream careers, and competitive exams such as UPSC, State Services, Banking, Police, and Railways.
Assistive Technology & Devices
We provide a dedicated Technology and Assistive Training Centre.
Students are trained to use assistive tools for learning and independence.
Support includes:
• Screen readers and audio learning tools for visually impaired students
• Mobility training and navigation support
• Assistive devices for orthopedic disabilities
• Hearing support systems and communication tools for hearing impaired students
Students are trained not just to use these tools, but to integrate them into education and work environments.
Holistic Development & Counselling
We provide four types of professional counselling:
• Psychological counselling
• Career counselling
• Personality development
• Academic/study support
Soft skills training is adapted to different disabilities.This includes communication, confidence building, interview preparation, and workplace readiness.
Accommodation & Health Support
Students live in a fully accessible residential campus.
The campus is designed for all disabilities, not just wheelchair access.
Facilities include:
• Accessible hostels and infrastructure
• Specialised gym systems for different disabilities
• Yoga and fitness training adapted for visually impaired and other needs
• Regular health check-ups and medical support
Financial Support & Scholarships
We provide support for:
• Education fees
• Hostel and living expenses
• Study materials and resources
This ensures that financial constraints do not stop education.
We also support medical interventions and corrective procedures where required.
Career guidance and placement support
We provide end-to-end career support.
Students are prepared for both government and private sector jobs.
Support continues after placement:

Beyond Education
Our relationship does not end with employment. We support students in building stable lives, including social integration and marriage support where needed. Students remain connected to Deepstambh as part of an extended family.
