Internship Guidelines

Students from various academic courses and professional programs are welcome to apply for internships at Deepstambh Foundation as part of their academic curriculum, fieldwork, project work, or practical exposure requirements.

Internship Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

Students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, professional, or vocational courses may apply for internships relevant to their academic background and curriculum requirements.

Application Process

Candidates may apply:

  • Through their college/institution, or 
  • Individually by submitting the required application and documents.

Duration of Internship

Internship duration shall be as per the academic curriculum, university guidelines, or institutional requirements of the candidate.

Nature of Internship

Interns may be assigned responsibilities related to:

  • Administration 
  • Human Resources 
  • Education & Training 
  • Social Work 
  • Research & Documentation 
  • Disability Inclusion 
  • Event Coordination 
  • Media & Communication 
  • Data Management 
  • Other organizational functions as applicable

Unpaid Internship

All internships at Deepstambh Foundation shall be unpaid in nature unless specifically communicated otherwise by the organization.

Accommodation & Food Support

Stay and food facilities may be provided to interns based on: 

    • Availability of accommodation seats, and 
    • Prior approval from the management.

Attendance & Discipline

  • Regular attendance throughout the internship duration is mandatory. 
  • Interns are expected to maintain professional conduct, discipline, confidentiality, and respect organizational policies.

Reporting Structure

Interns shall work under the guidance of assigned mentors/coordinators and must complete the tasks assigned during the internship period.

Submission of Report/Findings

Submission of internship reports, observations, research findings, project work, or presentations (as applicable) is mandatory at the end of the internship.

Certificate Policy

  • Internship certificates / completion letters shall be issued only upon successful completion of assigned work, attendance compliance, and submission of required reports/documents.
  • In case of incomplete attendance, misconduct, or non-submission of reports, the organization reserves the right not to issue any certificate.

Right of Acceptance

Deepstambh Foundation reserves the right to accept, reject, or discontinue any internship application or internship engagement at any stage based on organizational requirements and conduct.

Code of Conduct

Interns are expected to: 

  • Respect the values and culture of the organization 
  • Maintain confidentiality of organizational and student-related information 
  • Use organizational resources responsibly 
  • Follow instructions provided by mentors and management

No Employment Guarantee

Completion of internship does not guarantee employment or future engagement with the organization.
